There are numerous graffiti removal systems availible throughout the UK. Most of these either rely upon abraisives (which simply destroy the surface of any substrate), strong or aggressive chemicals (melting Perspex bus shelters and damaging reflective road signage for example) or rely upon very high pressure water. The only way that high pressure water will ever remove graffiti from a porous surface like brickwork or concrete is by removing the surface of the brick itself!!
The picture on the right was taken in Inverness during the training of Highland Councils graffiti removal team. They were the second council in Scotland to take up the system, Edinburgh City Council being the first. There are now 14 councils in Scotland using our products. We continue to support them all with up to date information and training as required and in some cases assistance with cleaning during campaigns, busy periods, or holiday cover.
Edinburgh City Council was the first in Scotland to have their staff trained to NVQ level. This involved both theory and practical training with all stages being backed up by photographic evidence for the training records.
